Hey y’all! Welcome to August! I’m attending a few blogger events in the next few weeks and I definitely plan to wear my natural hair. I mean what is Fro Plus Fashion without “the FRO”. Haha! So right now is not the best time for me to rock traditional summer hairstyles like box braids, crochet styles, and what not. Until I can, I’ll be having loads of fun with cute summer natural hairstyles starting with this look using products from KinkyTresses. I switched up my usual fro just a little bit with a cute summer updo. This look is definitely inspired by the popular Beyonce Lemonade braids. However this style has a twist that’s perfect for anyone wanting a similar look without extensions.

I used products from one of my favorite lines, Kinky Tresses. To say that I’m happy with the results is an understatement. Kinky Tresses products are formulated with loads of natural ingredients to moisturize and strengthen dry, brittle natural hair. If you’re ingredient conscious then the fact that they’re free of sulfates is a plus! I’ve highlighted KinkyTresses’ products in past reviews and tutorials, but in the tutorial below I gave the Avocado Infused Leave In Hair Milk the shine time that it hasn’t received before.
