One of the awesome perks of being a plus size style blogger is getting the opportunity to see previews of plus size fashions from our favorite brands before they hit the racks or the web. On Day 2 of my New York Fashion Week adventure, I got a preview of the fall and winter collections being released by Eloquii.
Eloquii is a plus size fashion brand that has been existence for 5 years. They’re still a relatively small brand but their passion for bring the trends that straight sized women get to rock each season to plus size women – affectionately called “their girls” by the Eloquii team- their own Eloquii way of course.
From the new clothing and footwear that they have in store for us curvy girls I’m happy to report that they’ve definitely hit the marks with these new pieces.

Plush On Trend Plus Size Winter Coats
Have you decided not to buy anymore coats for the winter season? Just throw that out the window now because the coats and fall outerwear that is coming? I’ve already peeped a few that I will be getting. From coats in classic colors like black and white and classic prints like plaid and houndstooth, to the oh so popular teddy coats. All the coats are super soft and are high quality. Remember the whole struggle I had with finding a leopard coat last fall? I think I’m adding this one to my closet as a long line coat option.
Plaid Is In With Fashion Flares
Eloquii is also dropping loads of plaid and tweed pieces that can be taken from the workplace to happy hour and back again. Plaids and tweeds are in this fall and winter season, but I love that Eloquii ventured off from the expected grays and browns and brought rich colors to the trend.
Corduroy Is Here to Stay
Let’s just chat about this corduroy jumpsuit, as seen on blogger IAmNikki Free. It truly is everything and I love the blush rose color because it’s the perfect pink for fall and can be worn all the way through to spring.
Sequin Season Starts Early
Sequined pieces have burst of the holiday-wear box and we’ve been seeing sequin every single season this year. Fall is definitely no different. Eloquii combined sequin and lemonade yellow (two things we love) and created a bomb t-shirt style dress that has limitless styling possibilities.
Don’t get me wrong sequin will always be a go to for the holidays and Eloquii is bringing loads of it for all occasions. They also have some gorgeous fashion forward pieces for the holiday season. This mesh ruffle strapless number instantly gave me Rihanna tease, and I’m so excited we’re getting a chance to slay just like her.
Cozy Up in PJs
I love that Eloquii is really thinking about every aspect of a plus size woman’s life. Yes we kill it with our style during the day, but we do want to look cute and cozy as we lounge around our home. Eloquii is testing out some pajama/loungewear as well and I’m excited to see where it goes.
I hope you guys enjoyed this little preview of awesome things to come. Through the discussions at this event, I realize that Eloquii is a real treasure to the plus size community. They really do put a lot of thought and work into constructing on trend fashionable pieces for real plus size bodies. As a smaller brand they still need a lot of support and with the pieces they are bringing to the table it’s a win win for everyone involved.
