Denim is a classic that is definitely not going anywhere, still which each new season we find new ways to make it fashion fresh. A good indicator that any particular trend is blowing up is 1. All your favorite stores you shop/cyber stalk have it for sale, or 2. When fashion bloggers (myself included), influencers, are rocking them and/or talking about it. These four fall denim trends are definitely worth giving a shot.
Bomb Fall Denim Trends to Try
Patchwork Denim (contrast denim panels, stitched look, contrast fabrics)
Patches are not just for elbows on blazers anymore! Denim pieces with varying textures distressing matterials, and even non denim fabrics are sewn together in on piece to create a whole new look. You can find this trend on jeans, jackets, skirts, and more.
Embroidered Denim
With the rise of patches, embroidery has also become on trend and shows no signs of slowing down. The most common embroidery details are floral patterns on dresses, jackets, and as accents on jeans. It effortlessly enhances the classic tee and jeans look.
Fringe + Ruffles
It’s all in the details. Fringed, raw cut, and assymetrical hems on jeans are on the rise. Ruffles are also making their way over to denim as well.
Fishnets in Distress
Adding fishnets, other hosiery, and even printed leggings under distressed denim gives this classic a creative spin. It also adds versatility to your favorite distressed denim pant. As you switch up what you wear under them, you get a whole new look.
