To be honest I am impatiently waiting for Florida to get the fall weather memo. Speaking of warm temperatures, This easy leopard print shift dress all by itself is the perfect way to dress for fall when the weather where you are isn’t quite operating. The leopard print and short bell sleeves pull from the trends of fall, but it’s still breathable for the warmer temps here in FL. I paired with stud detail criss cross strap boots that I could (and probably will) live in all fall. If you’re a part of size 11 and up crew, you’ll be glad to know that these wide fit boots go up to size 12w. They’re a great pair of boots that can be worn with so many different outfits.

As the chill rolls in, I can add this vegan leather jacket for just a bit more edge to the leopard dress. I love that this jacket is very clean and streamlined with not too many embellishments and trendy details. It makes it very easy to style with other pieces that I already have in my wardrobe. The laser cut details at the bottom of the jacket are nice because it allows any print or color that’s worn under it to peak through. The vegan leather material is so soft and easy to move around in unlike leather authentic leather. It’s nowhere near as heavy as real leather which is great for Florida weather.

When it comes to office wear, I’m not holding back on the bold. Pairing leather and leopard can be such a tricky thing to keep professional in the office, but it definitely can be done. For an office friendly look I paired the leopard with the vegan leather skirt and added the jacket to finish it all off. You’re probably wondering how the heck did I get this long dress to look a top and not show below the skirt right? I was wearing shape wear pants and tucked the hem of the skirt under the shape wear in the front and in the back. You can also use safety pins to shorten the hem of the skirt! Blouse the skirt a little above the skirt’s waistband and there ya go! The leather set would also look great with a waist cinching belt over the jacket. Something to try next time I wear it.

There really are some true fashion gems in Catherine’s and I’m so glad that i have one located here in Tallahassee. They’ve been in business locally for over 30 years.
