Summer is here and you know what else is wedding season! One thing that is major when it comes to a bride is her hair. For the natural brides to be and even the “always a bridesmaid never a braid” naturals out there (it’s ok it’ll happen) is you guessed it our hair. For the natural brides to be it may be even more of a challenge finding the perfect style when you want to grace your guests with you curls, coils, or kinks as they are vs under a wig or weave.
So if it’s crunch time and you still haven’t figured out what natural hair style you want to go with?
Look no further! Here are four super easy roll, tuck, and pin styles that are the stuff of natural hair styles for weddings and other formal events. To help you visualize the matrimonial slayage you would bestow on your wedding guests, I’ve also incorporated bridal hair accessories that would work perfectly for each style.
The focal points in this style are the cascading rolls and crown. This style would go great with with your classic pearl beads that can be inserted with bobby pins throughout the crown and cascading rolls. Baby breath size flowers would also be a nice option for a garden wedding.
This style is the same as the first style but it was tweaked to make the crown the only focal point of the style. A great way to draw in that focus would be to compliment it with a delicate tiara or headband.
The same can also be done for my personal favorite here! The twisted crown part of this roll tuck and pin style is too gorgeous to coverup. A train would work great if installed just above the base of the classic chignon-esque rolls. If you’re thinking on switching your look up a bit for your ceremony, a nice option would be a gorgeous hair comb in the veils place.
For that bride that wants to give that Teyonah Parris roll tuck & pin vibe all the way to the alter, this chick mohawk is right up her..well alter. A gorgeous blusher veil will be the perfect accent piece to this style!
