Gingham gingham gingham. It’s still not going anywhere in my eyes. A lot of you were asking for deets on this look especially after I was featured in Instyle Magazine’s “A NYFW Street Style Gallery Dedicated to Plus-Size Women” article. When I rebranded to Fro Plus Fashion one of the main goals was to be part of the change I wanted to see and that is more women that look like me filling all aspects of fashion. About This Gingham Matching Set
*drum roll* I got this gorgeous Gingham matching set from SheIn, and let me tell you for $23 it is everything! I can easily style these pieces individually in so many ways for the last days of summer and even into fall. Together they can be dressed up with heels or fall boots. In this New York streets there’s loads of walking and I’m a firm believer that pretty doesn’t always have to hurt. I paired this set with some comfy, casual Puma sneakers, and honestly this outfit still looks fancy.
As much as I love black and white combos this look was definitely craving some color, so I thought why not yellow? I thrifted the yellow satchel bag (similar bag here) at least a year ago so I decided to get these yellow statement earrings from ASOS to complete the look. Like a yellow cab of color on a dark city street.
I’m super happy with this piece from SheIn’s plus section, and I can’t wait to style it in different ways for the fall season!

I’m such a sucker for a good pattern, and gingham is one of my favorite summer patterns. I love how you mixed the color (that pop of yellow is everything)! Also, can I say that I love that I see more and people rocking flats and tennis shoes at Fashion Week. There is no way I would be running around to dozens of shows in four-inch heels
