Backstory on this Plus Size Houndstooth Suit
I was left in charge of the the section at my 9 to 5 last week. That’s not saying a whole lot because I’m a very laid back “boss” when I have that role. At the end of the day everyone in here are adults and should do what they know they’re suppose to do. A babysitter I am not. I digress. On top of that there’s a monthly meeting that my boss usually chairs that I was tasked with handling as well. As you could imagine my anxiety has been spiking here and there throughout the week. I usually keep to myself in my little cube and knock out my own work as I listen to various podcasts, and deafening music (headbangers unite).

Who What Wear Plus Houndstooth Blazer
The day came for the “big meeting” and as usual my style is my perk me up so I wore this plus size houndstooth suit (similar blazer here and similar skirt here). These two are actually thrifted pieces that I got months apart, but the scale of the houndstooth print was a perfect match. Houndstooth prints are definitely having a having a moment right now so you can replicate this look so easily. I also rocked my boots I just got from Catherines and featured in my leopard print and leather post. These boots will definitely be worn to death and you’ll be seeing them time and time again. You’ve been warned.
It’s still unfortunately warm in Florida so I wore a basic black tee with a stylish tulle sleeve trim underneath. So whether I’m wearing the blazer or not the look still looks very much put together.

All in all the meeting went well. My heart may have been in my throat the entire time, but I’ve been good about not letting it show on the outside.
