Statement Sweaters You’ll Want to Cozy Up In

 

One huge trend for this fall and winter season are statement sweaters. I’m so glad that it is because it’s the perfect way to be basic without looking basic. As it gets colder I’m pretty sure I’ll be going the leggings or skinny pant route, paired with tops that are going to actually keep me warm. With statement sweaters you get a practical cozy top that still has a whole lot of style.

I kicked of my statement sweaters swag with this ruffle sleeved sweater from the Who What Wear collection.  The huge ruffle sleeves add a level of style to my look without trying to hard. I recently wore it with a leopard print skirt, wide waist belt, and ankle boots for chic office look.  It can easily be dressed down with some denim and sneaks, but thanks to the sleeves any look would be far from basic.

I’m even more excited for this statement sweaters trend because it’s not often that plus size girls get all the cute stuff that you find in straight sizes.
