Simple outfits need love y’all! Amen?! I’ll assume you threw up at least one hand and said “YASSS” back! Not every outfit has to be something off of a couture runway or fashion magazine. With fall right around the corner, I realized that comfort but make it cute seems to be my move as I started pinning inspirational outfits in my Fall Style Mood Board on Pinterest. If you haven’t seen my board yet, t-shirts and jeans will be a go to style.
Groundbreaking. Sensational. Innovative. I know right, but hear me out. As much as I’m here for having fun with your style, I’d be lying if I said every situation requires a shiny, sequin, furry, statement, IG attention grabbing look. At least I’m not wearing them to have a stroll around the park with my fam. However, even simple outfits can be spiffed up to be 100% you. Here are some of the things I do to make T-shirt and jeans outfits more interesting.

Tucking
It’s so funny that I am so excited to wear looks that call for tucked in tops when it was the most uncool thing to do as a kid. Not to mention society would have us believe that us curvy women with big bellies can’t tuck our shirts in. In this house, we call that BS. Here’s some tips on confidently tucking in shirts when you have a big tummy!
Bring on the Belts
I wear belts,even if my pants can stay up right where it’s suppose to be. I love to incorporate belts with fun details like Western buckles, hanging chains, and vintage vibes.
Outerwear
Now y’all know how I feel about blazers right? Well if ya didn’t know I truly believe blazers make you look like you mean business even if you’re wearing the same casual clothes you wore at the bar night before. Seriously no one knows if you don’t tell them. Denim jackets, cute cardigans, and leather jackets are also some great options as well.
Accessories
You can’t go wrong with hoops y’all! Statement earrings are my favorite way to add “something” to a really simple outfit like a tshirt and jeans combo. Sunnies instantly adds some cool points as well.
It’s All In the Bag
Adding a bag with different details,a fun print, or pop of color is one of my favorite ways to make T-shirt and denim outfits more interesting.
