=&0=&Get you some ribbons, twines, etc. and create a fun one or two-word saying that speaks to you or the vibes you’re about. Words like “relax”, “beach bum”, “let’s get effed up” haha. Whatever you’re proud of. 🙂 Use a pencil or any other faint marking tool to create a layout of the phrase.

The bare wall in the background in my new creative space/office is killing me. Ok I’m exaggerating, but the wall is blah and blah I am not. With a set of upcoming holiday videos in the midst, I figured I’d perk it up with a festive backdrop. This DIY will be great for any photographer or content creator that wants to switch up their backdrop for the holidays as well.
I decided to go with a foam poster board with one side yellow and one side white. The yellow will help to reflect the gold from the gold garland and will be less noticeable if there are small gaps in between the garland. You could also choose a thicker garland to eliminate gaps all together. Apply vertical or horizontal lines of glue along the poster board and adhere the garland to the lines of glue before they dry. Das it!
Here are some cute test shots of how it looks through my new camera.
I’m sure the garland will have my backdrop lit when reflecting the natural light in my space. I can’t wait to try it out.

If you’re following me on Instagram (if not get on over there) you may have noticed that I’m a fan of emojis. I’m not excessive with it, but I do love to add at least one to warm up my replies and captions from time to time. My faves for the moment would have to be the in love/awe, happy, silly, and the cool emojis. If you’re a fan of emojis as much as I am then you’re going to love this DIY. This one was inspired these designer slippers below.
Get this! They cost $295! *insert 295 shocked emojis* here. Time to DIY these.
