Who What Wear Collection Plus Size New Releases Spring Summer 2018
Guess what?! New Who What Wear Collection Plus Size releases are now up on Target! I just so happened to be perusing Target this past Friday and to my surprise these same releases were on the racks before it was even announced today (Sunday). I probably shouldn’t be mentioning this because it’s a perk I love very much! Shhh. I digress. I grabbed as many of the new pieces that I could that were my size or as close as I could get to give you all a visual of what some of the pieces look like. I know in some locations access to the plus size pieces are very very limited and a video like this will save you the time of ordering something, waiting for it, and then realizing you don’t like the fit if it fits at all. #plussizewhileshoppingonline
I just did a Who What Wear plus style collab where I shared my favorite dress from that last set of new releases and here they go with new things for us rock this summer. No complaints here I’ve already snagged some of my faves and you’ll just have to stay tuned (subscribe in the mean time) to see what pieces I snagged right away!
Anyways I hope you all enjoy this video and if you’re just here to get straight to the new releases you can get to shopping right below the video!
Either way let me know if you would like to see more Inside the Dressing Room videos and I’ll be happy to knock em out for you!

3 Tips to the Perfect Plus Size Jumpsuit
When you find the perfect plus size jumpsuit for your body, it’s truly a beautiful thing. That’s how I feel anyways. On my lunch break I took a browse through the Target that’s literally 10 minutes away from my day job. Convenient yes, but so dangerous. I’m not complaining though. In addition to checking out the new spring collection from Who What Wear, I wanted to see what was poppin with Universal Thread. Universal Thread is a brand spanking new and at the core of the brand is “amazing denim based on fashion trends and firsthand guest feedback, but there’s also apparel and accessories that make it simple to create a complete look.” While I loved the denim pieces that I tried on, I ended up purchasing this pinstriped chambray plus size jumpsuit and “why” is what this post is all about.
There are 2 types of clothing that I ALWAYS have a struggle with in terms of fit and they’re wide leg/palazzo pants and jumpsuits. The perfection of this jumpsuit fit, inspired me to share just what goes into finding the perfect plus size jumpsuit for your body.

Finding A Plus Size Jumpsuit That Fits
Length Problem
More often than not when I try on jumpsuits on my 5’3″ frame, I have ridiculous amounts of fabric dragging on the floor and it’s not a good look. Tailoring an outfit that’s suppose to fit that you just spent money on is not something I’m here for unless the item is custom made. Just miss me with it. Pay close attention to where the pants portion of the jumpsuit falls on the model that’s wearing it if you’re shopping online. Then look in the description section to see how tall that particular model is. It can give you a good idea of whether or not the jumpsuit’s length is going to work for you.
A plus size jumpsuit that is cropped like the one I’m wearing may also be a better option. Also try shopping in petite sections for jumpsuits. This is a very logical tip, but even I forget that I’m short af and am technically considered petite. If you’re here for the extra work you could hem it as well.
Camel Toe Problems
Have you ever tried on a jumpsuit (or a pair of pants even) that fit really well, but you were experiencing a huge case of camel toe? It’s distracting af and not cute. Usually this has to do with the fact that the torso portion of the jumpsuit is just too short for your body so it causes you to look like you’ve given yourself a wedgie. Comparing your girth measurement (from top of shoulder over breasts and belly to your crotch) to the size guide for any jumpsuit will help your to sort it out. Your inseam measurement (from your crotch to desired hem length) is also a good measurement to know when hunting for your plus size jumpsuit and is a measurement most likely.
Too Baggy
Listen I’ve had my share of “Are You Expecting?” inquiries all because my jumpsuit was looser than normal in the tummy area. So in addition to telling that nosy person mind to their business, here’s the solution. It’s very similar to what’s causing the camel toe problem, but the opposite. If the torso of the jumpsuit is too long it leaves a lot of room in the tummy area and makes the jumpsuit hang lower that it should. If you’re not intentionally going for a relaxed baggy fit, compare the garment’s measurements to your girth measurement.
I keep these tips in mind every time I’m shopping for a jumpsuit for my body. I hope you find it helpful too. I’m super excited to see what else I’ll like from the Universal Thread brand in Target and you will be first to know when I share it.
Target A New Day Clothing Line 1st Look
Word on the fashionista streets is a new clothing line called A New Day (A.N.D.) will be officially launching in a few days August 27. According to the “A New Day FAQ” the line is “… for the millenial woman who is passionate about her style…a brand that delivers current fashion and reinvented classics, interpreted for REAL LIFE…”.
A New Day Price & Size Range
They also are focused on quality and fit with sizes ranging from 0-16, XS-4X, and 14W-26W in select stores and online. They also have shoes ranging from 6 – 11 with certain styles ranging from 5 – 12 with wide widths and wide calf cuts. *praise dancing for big feet inclusion*
With a price range of $9.99 to $44.99 this line is definitely affordable for the millenial woman and anyone that wants to look chic for less.
This is definitely great news. A new affordable clothing line that is inclusive of plus size women, with larger feet, that want practicality with fashion pizazz? This is was too much to pass up. So I ventured off to my local Target to see what was up and was surprised to see they had most of the preview pieces available to buy before the official launch date. Shocking vibes!
