The Perfect Holiday Office Party Outfit

If your a 9 to 5ing fashionista in the workplace , then you know it’s time to get your holiday office party outfit together. So far it’s looking like I have two separate functions to attend, but here’s my plus size holiday office party outfit for one of them.

Finding the Right Holiday Office Party Outfit

Dark Colors – There’s going to be lots of eating going on, and I don’t want to be stuck with stained up top all day. A dark colored top was the best bet for me.
Fabulous, but keep it professional. – Keep the club wear at home. *sips tea*
Comfy Chic – Listen, if I’m going somewhere where lots of food is involved. My belly needs to be free…okay?!
It’s All In The Details – So if the look is going to be dark, comfy chic, and professional. The wow factor has to be in the details of each piece.

I put this head-to-toe look together courtesy of Lane Bryant after I spotted the sequin skirt on the site. The category is “subtle glam”. I wanted to wear statement pieces in a chic and professional way. The holiday office party I’m going to is rather laid back, so super formal holiday dresses would be (as much as I hate to say it) a bit extra.

Pairing the sequin skirt with this sweater keeps the whole look cozy even with all the glam details. I love the metallic flecks and the pearl details in the sweater. Confession! I’m so over heels for the moment. I’ve traded them in for things that are comfortable, stress free, and chic all the same time. These studded strap ankle boots are the epitome of all of those things. My favorite details are the metal studs on all the straps because they tie in perfectly with the metallic accents on my sweater.

Versatility is my friend, and she’s coming with me right into 2019. Even after the holiday’s are over, I can still wear all of these pieces with things I already have in my closet. Thanks so much to Lane Bryant for providing festive holiday office party options for us fashionistas.
